On June 21, 2009, Anthony Holland had attended a Gun Show in Elk City Oklahoma.  He returned home around 4:30 PM that day.  Around 5:30 PM he left his home, leaving his wallet, money, check book and all personal items at home.  His home is just east of Cordell, Oklahoma.  He did phone his wife, who was still at home, around 6:30 PM.  He never returned home.  The next day, June 22, the Washita County Sheriff's Department was notified.  Searches by air began.  Through that search, they located day his green GMC pickup on land he owned southeast of Cordell.  His cell phone was found on the same land on Wednesday, June 24. 

Many searches have been conducted on that land and land nearby.  Divers have been used for ponds as well as cadaver dogs, tracking dogs and spelunkers.   Nothing has been found at this point.
